The same person, just check one of his edits. The same nonsense. Mohsen1248 (talk) 05:03, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I follow this user from his first account, he is doing the same thing, putting non-existance things to the articles, creating articles about sport tournaments from 2016 and 2017 and putting his nonsense. I found this account by following his IP edits here and found the article he created with his other account. his other account User:FIFAWorldCupFan is already banned without even reporting here. this guy is sick.

The user is back adding fictional details to many articles, specifically sporting events, television singing/entertainment shows, video games. Ie [1]. Some of the listed accounts actually predate the account name that this case was first opened under. Comparing this and this edit with this makes it clear that this IP is also User:Mauricio80 who has their own SPI page. This edit ties the IP to AmericasTalent via this edit. This edit makes me believe that this is also Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Diogomauricio3/Archive. The socks of Diogomauricio3 share the habit of adding fictional information about future olympics, with particular interest in junior/youth competitions: [2]/[3] vs [4] or [5].

We should probably merge all three cases together to help keep things straight. (The IPs are mostly stale, just including to make the picture clearer.) TDL (talk) 21:45, 25 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I left a link to the SPI page of Ruso45, opened by me last night. He is related to this case, Mauricio80, and Diogomauricio3. --Dэя-Бøяg 15:21, 1 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone just block this account User:AmericasTalent already reported here ? He is still vandalizing wikipedia. these IPs also belong to the same person.

The IP address belongs to him without any doubt and other accounts only created articles about future events this IP address is interested in editing, this one has a history of creating nonsense articles about future events. and his vandalizing usually looks normal at first look, so I think it deserves more attention to save wikipedia from vandalism. •   Additional information needed - @Mohsen1248: In order to facilitate and expedite your request, please provide diffs to support your case. Please give two or more diffs meeting the following format:
  1. At least one diff is from the sockmaster (or an account already blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet of the sockmaster), showing the behaviour characteristic of the sockmaster.
  2. At least one diff per suspected sockpuppet, showing the suspected sockpuppet emulating the behaviour of the sockmaster given in the first diff.
  3. In situations where it is not immediately obvious from the diffs what the characteristic behaviour is, a short explanation must be provided. Around one sentence is enough for this. Vanjagenije (talk) 17:11, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

All these users/IPs belong to one person who is a vandalizer, you can follow those IP edits to find the connection between them. I'm not complete sure if this is the same person as this sock but his field of interest and the way he just enjoys to add phantom host cities to sport events are similar. This one is a dangerous vandazlier since his vandalizing edits are not that obvious, I think this deserves a little more attention. there are probably much more accounts/IPs and phantom articles. Mohsen1248 (talk) 21:23, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I can't give those things since all of his hoax articles he created are already deleted. The sockmaster used to create hoax articles about future sport events and these accounts are doing the same. btw he probably already created another account(s) to vandalize wikipedia somewhere else, I doubt he uses these accounts anymore. •   Administrator note Here's what I see:
    • FallandSpringOlympics created a hoax article listing Olympics occurring in odd-numbered years on his user page in September 2013; he was the only editor. He also uploaded File:2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.png, a hoax about a FIFA tournament in South Africa in 2016. Again, he was the only editor save some license tagging before it was tagged for CSD#G3. FallandSpringOlympics does have an extensive contribution history outside this article that obviously stopped after his indefinite block.
    • Sanglan231 created the hoax article 2016 AFF U-23 Youth Championship on March 15. He has no other edits outside this article. The 181.x.x.x IP edited the article to add dates and a flagicon.
    • Kangson2001 created the hoax article Football at the 2020 Summer Olympics – Men's tournament on March 18. He has no other edits outside this article. It was prodded, and the 181.x.x.x IP removed the PROD tag.
    • The other IP did not edit the articles at all.

I have no clear evidence if this is the same user but he is almost doing the same things, creating hoax articles for upcoming sporting events, mostly football competitions. even if he is not the same, he is still breaking the rules by using couple of accounts, I think you should take this one serious because this user is vandalizing wikipedia with hoax articles and they are not really easy to notice since they are very similar to the truth. • I'm familiar with this sockmaster so I took a look as this type of hoaxing is particularly harmful. LookforFans134 and FanofFans1911 are   Confirmed to each other so I've blocked them. The master and various socks are   Stale, but based solely on geolocation it's   Possible this is FallandSpringOlympics. I'll mark this as checked in case a Clerk wants to do a deep dive into a possible behavioural connection, though I'm fine with it being closed with no further action.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:42, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Berean Hunter: Based on your notes I've blocked the IPV6 range. Unfortunately I'm heading out shortly for Easter holiday and I don't know when I'll be able to circle back to this. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:39, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Enjoy your holiday :). Bbb23 did the RVFan case and may be able to look in on this. In fact, when RV was blocked by him on Oct 26, this account was created the day before ==> Moe sat (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) and went to the same subjects.
