Yep, and if BD is busy role-playing as Morbil, the odds of a release happening went from zero to negative 100. I'm sticking with my March as an earliest "update" window, although the "updates" for this game resemble Swiss cheese more than anything close to cohesive story-telling lately.
I'm 100% convinced that Morbil is in fact Braindrop. They even write similarly.
nah... Morbil is too dentd to run this successful milking operation

Dev released an update 3 months ago, but he does have issues with consistency and keeping deadlines.
This is exactly what I was talking about with 7 and 8 in this list:
And he treats any incremental upload as a clean slate.
  1. State promised content amount.
  2. State completion of promised content amount.
  3. State upload date.
  4. Don't upload on declared date. Blame technical reason. Give new upload date.
  5. Don't upload on declared date. Blame mental block. Give new upload date.
  6. Don't upload on declared date. Blame re-rendering time. Give new upload date.
  7. At start of new billing window, upload only part of the promised content. Promise the missing parts will be uploaded ASAP.
  8. Cease progress for several months because a "new upload" is now on record and that is enough to trick new patrons into donating to this scam.
The partial update in early 2024 has yet to be remedied. The partial update in late 2024 has yet to be remedied. The partial update he's now telling us to expect will not fill in all those blanks left in the prior updates, but I'm sure he'll tell us to expect the missing bits will be uploaded ASAP.
"See, there was an update only 3 months ago!"

No, there was part of an update that was due in 2023 (in case you haven't checked the calendar, it is currently 2025), along with a promise that the things he left out would be immediately uploaded.

The missing parts from the past 2 updates have NOT been uploaded. He didn't even make an attempt to remedy that, just stopped because now certain people have a new "recent update" in their memories.
